The practice operates across continents.

Most clients do not work in English as a first language.

That is not a limitation. It is the starting point.

Every engagement begins where the client is. It ends in English that belongs to them.

Private Mandate

Some stories are not written for the world.

The private memoir. The family legacy document. The record written for successors and not for publication. This is among the most discreet work undertaken here. It begins with a conversation that goes no further, governed by a formal NDA before a single word is discussed.

If this is what you need, nothing else on this page is relevant. What matters is that the right person is trusted with the right story.

The Foundation

Editorial craft. Institutional depth. Thirty years.

The documents and narratives that shape institutions require more than writing ability. They require an understanding of the rooms in which they will be read.

This practice was built on three decades spent inside those rooms: investment committees, review bodies, multilateral evaluators, and ministerial offices. The understanding of what those audiences require, and what makes a document fail before the second paragraph is read, cannot be learned from the outside.

Every mandate is handled personally by the founder, from the first conversation to the final full stop. No delegation. No subcontracting without consent. Only a limited number of engagements are undertaken each year, because quality here is not a marketing claim. It is a practical constraint.

About the Practice

The practice works with principals across the GCC, South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia, sovereign institutions, project developers, executives, and authors whose documents must perform in English at the level their content deserves. If your institution operates in English as a second or working language, this practice was built for precisely that context. Engagements are delivered remotely from Mumbai and Dubai. Invoices may be raised in USD, GBP, EUR, or INR. Cross-border tax documentation, including W-8BEN for United States principals and GST-compliant invoicing for Indian entities, is handled as a standard part of engagement onboarding.

From the writing room

Occasional observations on the craft of institutional writing, the documents that shape decisions at the highest level, and the judgments that separate a useful draft from one that fails before the second paragraph is read.

Why institutional documents fail in the first paragraph

Most institutional documents are lost before the reader reaches the second page. The reason is rarely the analysis beneath. It is almost always what the first paragraph asked the reader to do, and how.

The difference between editing and ghostwriting at senior level

The distinction matters more than most principals realise when they commission the work. One preserves a voice. The other constructs one. The fee, the duration, and the result are different in kind.

What a family constitution must decide before it can be drafted

A family constitution written too early becomes a compromise on paper that fails in the first real test. The decisions it must crystallise are rarely the ones the drafter is initially asked to document.

The result is a book I am proud of in a way I did not anticipate. It captures forty years of professional life authentically. The voice is mine, the judgements are mine, the record is mine. The craft that made it possible was not.
